Artajasa was established with the vision and mission to be the frontrunner of an integrated and efficient electronic transaction service provider.

Artajasa was established to be the first non banking institution that owns a RTGS account in the Bank of Indonesia. In the same year, Artajasa started to manage ATM Bersama and Online Payment service for telecommunication industry.

The Online Settlements service was first launched to facilitate ATM Bersama participating Banks to proceed with all transaction settlements in all ATM Bersama network.

Online Payment service is expanded to Multifinance industry.

Artajasa was officially the pioneering in Indonesia that provided a real-time, cross-bank online transfer service innovation.

Artajasa enlarged its business scope to the neighbouring countries by signing a memorandum of agreement with PAYNET (Malaysia), in order to legitimate its transaction network expansion for all ATM Bersama customers in Malaysia.

Artajasa started to implement Online Settlement service for Payment Gateway.

Artajasa became one of the initiators in the Asian Payment Network, to connects all switching companies throughout South East Asia. In the same year, Artajasa launched BPDnet Online service for Regional Development Bank.

Artajasa became the first initiator and pioneer for ATM and Debit Card chip specification standard. Later on, the standard was applied in the banking industry. In the same year, a new service, E-Channel, was launched. E-Channel is a delivery channel that provides service for finance industry.

Artajasa received an award from Bank of Indonesia for its participation in developing specification standards for Debit card chip and ATM in Indonesia.

Artajasa obtained license from Bank of Indonesia as the clearing and settlement organizer for ATM and Debit.

Artajasa launched its remittance service network in Hongkong and Malaysia to facilitate transaction performed by Indonesian workforces in the two countries.

Artajasa built electronic money infrastructure in the attempt of expanding its service in payment system industry.

Artajasa focused on compliance to regulation and finally obtain ISO27001:2005 Certification from the Bureau Veritas, for its ATM Bersama security system, Electronic Money (E-Money) License, Remittance License, and e-money Issuer License from Bank of Indonesia.

Artajasa obtained License for Debit Card Acquiring from Bank of Indonesia, as an appreciation for Artajasa’s commitment to advance its E-Channel service. Furthermore, Artajasa started to operate the Cross Principal Fund Service Transfer Interconnection.

Kantor pusat ARTAJASA resmi berdiri dan seluruh kegiatan operasional berpindah ke Serpong, Tangerang Selatan.

Di tahun yang sama Artajasa meluncurkan layanan Transfer for Payment untuk Garuda Indonesia

Artajasa was proposed to design and launch ATM Switching service for HIMBARA using the name “ATM Merah Putih” as its brand.

Artajasa intiatiated certification system to implement NSICCS (National Standard Indonesian Chip Card Specification) for all ATM Bersama’s members.

Artajasa launched ATM Bersama Debit service. Not only that, Artajasa also obtained license from the Bank of  Indoneia as the switching institution for National Payment Gateway or Gerakan Pembayaran Nasional (GPN).

In addition, Artajasa also obtained ISO 9001:2015 Certification. Finally, in the same year, together with other switching institutions, Artajasa established PT. Penyelesaian Transaksi Elektronis Nasional (PTEN) or the National Electronic Transaction Settlement Company.

Artajasa launched Disbursement features in Bersama Kirim Uang service as a solution for Partners who wish to perform cash transfer to different accounts from time to time.

In 2018, Artajasa also participated in assisting Bank Indonesia to launch National Payment Gateway or Gerbang Pembayaran Nasional as the backbone of payment system in Indonesia.

Artajasa supports Bank Indonesia in implementing and launching QR Code-based payment, according to GPN Standard, known as QRIS. Not only that, Artajasa also continually organized campaigns for QRIS as a form of support for Indonesia payment system advancement.

Furthermore, Artajasa has been active in many GPN national campaigns initiated by Bank of Indonesia.

Artajasa launched ATM Bersama Crossborder service, where ATM Bersama participating Banks’ customers can convinently perform a facilitated transaction in THe Kingdom of Saudi Arabia region. ATM Bersama became the only network that accommodates customers’ transaction in more than 4000 Al-Rajhi Bank’s ATM, spread throughout the Saudi Arabia region.
